This is the last week. We have nothing to do but beach and poollife, playing in the sun, eating good food and going for small excursions in the three wheel motorbike (=saleng).
We have had ice cream desserts at the Coffe@Train-café. They have some fun magazine, thai and others to browse. I found this medical add there. I don't know what is wrong with this man, can you figure it out? But several pairs of scissors seem to be needed.
We have visited former "Good Morning Sang Arun", my absolute favorite place. It used to be the place that God forgotten. Now turned into "Mumsa", by a Hua Hin-Swede who wanted something else than the traffic up there. The bike riksha is still there, as tuk-tuk and the wooden porched restaurant. It has been renewed though, something that was probably not done "single-handed". The new owners had a cat that had found the right spot.
My cutie waiting for expensive (200 bath) pizza.
We drove on to Sang Arun fishing village that now has a "tourist information" sign, which I think means that they speak English. There was a new a restaurant/hostel with some small rentals. Further down the gravel road we stepped on to a luxurious sales office for new housing district (for sale now). It is obvious that this area understands that tourism is on it's way. While at the outlet of the stream, Sten went straight to play in a little sail boat and Axel jumped down on the sand.
Guess it was not roofed and topped with electrical lights when in the sea...
Hey ho!
With Mathias in it
Boats.
Axel found something!
And so did I. Two giant shells! Mine was slightly bigger, and measures around 20 cm. We are not sure, but do not dare taking these home with us. Our parade of shells.
Fishing at Jacks is another tradition that we have. Mathias buys shrimp, squid or corn at the market and heads for the pier with Axel. While they are at it, Sten and I wait at the restaurants. This time a friend of Axels came out on the pier so Sten and I followed them out just to see what it was like. Full of crayfish cages this time.
The fisherman.
The boys. Axel actually caught fish. A unedible one it seemed.
We have been going to the market as usual. Sten wasted his last money on a wallet, just because his brother bought one. (Only thing is, his brother got extra because of his birthday, so his is not empty.)
